Act2 Focus Groups

As part of the Act2 Project, we are inviting ministers, lay leaders, members and participants in Uniting Church local communities to be part of specific and relevant conversations about issues, opportunities and challenges in their context.

We are running a second series of focus groups with different local communities of faith, gathering people in common contexts to explore how we can order our life to help these communities flourish.

In the current ‘Collective Discernment’ phase, these Focus Groups will explore conversations around Workstream 1, Local Communities of Faith and Discipleship, and the Directions offered in Section 5 the latest Act2 report.

There are 12 different Focus Groups planned.

We want to welcome a diversity of experiences from across the Uniting Church and invite people to register for the the Focus Groups. In some circumstances for size and balance we may not be able to accomodate your registration and will look for another group in which you can participate.

Read descriptions and find more information and register below.

Focus Groups

    • A ongoing community gathering at a school where the participants would view this as their primary community of faith

    • An ongoing community of faith that gathers within a Uniting Church agency where the participants would view this as their primary community of faith
